I am a Professional Member, National President and the Chair of Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC). I am also a Professional Member of Career Development Association of Australia, and a Senior Visiting Lecturer at the University of Adelaide.
My professional goal is to improve vocational rehabilitation through provision of best practice service, innovation and technology. As such, I have designed numerous services and products to improve RTW outcomes.
My areas of specialisation are complex physical and psychological injuries with medico-legal barriers and mediation needs. I also regularly contribute in peer publications, grant funded research and have been an invited speaker on injury management principles, vocational assessments, early intervention and emotional intelligence in the workplace. I always strive to give back to the profession and as such I regularly supervise students from various Allied Health areas of practice. I also practice in Serbian/Croatian languages.
My qualifications include a Masters of Human Services (Rehabilitation Counselling through Griffith University, PhD in Transplantation Immunology (Medicine); Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) through School of Medicine, University of Adelaide; Bachelor of Biotechnology through University of Adelaide; Nationally Qualified Mediator and Pain Educator.
I have been a Director of Career Bug since 2015, WorkGain since 2017 and TaskAlyser from 2019. Prior to starting at Career Bug, I was a General Manager at a National Rehabilitation firm in Adelaide from 2012-2015 and I also worked in case management and team leader functions.
